June Recap

Wow! The summer is flying by already. We had a great June, taking advantage of the beautiful warm weather as much as we could.

We went out for a ride on Mimi and Papa Paul's "new" boat. Daniel loved going fast and driving the boat. Look how serious he was about it!

Daniel got to meet Iron Man at an event at Oakland Mall. He was excited to go, but got a little nervous when he saw him. Randy had to hold him for the photo.

Brandi, Daniel and I visited Papa Daniels and took him out to lunch for Father's Day and his birthday.

Daniel gave Randy a nice new camping chair for Father's Day, and I surprised Daniel with his own camping chart, just like Daddy's!

We took a trip to the zoo with Brandi and Mike and Mimi and Papa Paul. We rode the train, visited with all the animals, and had lunch. Then we headed back to Mimi and Papa Paul's house to cool off in the pool for the afternoon.

We went camping with the Ford, Forester, Froberger and Mertens families at Port Crescent State Park on the shores of Lake Huron. It wasn't the warmest weather, but the kids had fun riding bikes and playing in the water. Can't wait to meet up with everyone again in August at Silver Lake State Park near the Silver Lake sand dunes.

July has been just as busy and fun as June. I'll post videos of Daniel riding his bike and swimming soon.
