Sledding at Stony Creek

Wow. We have A LOT of snow. We couldn't possibly spend our free Sunday inside and NOT play in all this snow. So we all bundled up and headed out to Stony Creek Metro Park for some snowy sledding fun. And did we have fun. It was a good size sledding hill, but it didn't scare Daniel at all. He went down with Randy first. He loved it! After a few more runs with Randy or I he was ready to go down ALL BY HIMSELF! Randy would wait for him at the bottom of the hill and jump out of the way or jump over Daniel when he got to the bottom, to Daniel's great amusement. He didn't love walking back up the hill very much and tried to con Randy and I into carrying or pulling him up in the sled. Sometimes it worked, but mostly it didn't. After a good hour of sledding, we headed back to the truck to have some hot cocoa and watch the other sledders. What a great way to spend a snowy afternoon!
