Trunk-or-Treat!

On Friday, KinderCare hosted a Truck-or-Treat, where parent volunteers park their cars in the parking lot, decorate their trunks, and hand out candy to all the kids who go trick-or-treating from car to car. Daniel was excited to put on his dragon costume and go back up to school for the Halloween party. He nearly pushed Randy and I out the door!

We found his friends Noah, who was Spiderman, and Alex, who was Scooby Doo, and did the trunk-or-treating with them.

Then we headed inside for more food and fun. Daniel made a ghost picture, read books with Noah, decorated a pumpkin with stickers, and played with all the new toys in his old classroom. We also found Daniel's good buddy, Cameron, who was Superman, and sat and had a sucker with him.

Soon it was time to say goodbye to all his friends and head home. Of course, Daniel had to have one more Halloween snack before brushing his teeth and heading to bed. He had a great time and KinderCare did a great job hosting the fun.
