22 Months Old!

Daniel turned 22 months old this Labor Day weekend. The countdown to his 2nd birthday has begun. Today he starts in his new classroom at KinderCare. He is now in the Toddler B class with Ms. Priscilla. He moved up today with 3 of his friends, Keegan, Noah and Mackenzie. I thought he would be upset at drop off this morning, but he was fine. I think it was because all of his friends were already there. The Toddler B room has a similar schedule as the Toddler A room, but Ms. Priscilla does more with learning colors, numbers and letters. Daniel loves to sing his ABCs, can help me count to 10, and is just starting to get his colors. I think learning these will be a fun challenge for Daniel. Also, Daniel will be asked if he wants to use the potty at each diaper change. It is his choice to use it or not. So this will be the first step in the potty training challenge. We are in no rush, as he is still so young, but we'll start getting him used to the idea. We are trying to enjoy every minute with our little "baby" before he suddenly turns into our "little boy"!!
