Daniel went for his 15 month doctor's visit this morning. He now weighs 23 lbs. 7 oz. and is 32 inches long. He's in the 25-50 percentile for weight and 75 percentile for height.
Dr. Hugen was thrilled with his development. He's meeting all the developmental milestones. He seems to be a little ahead with his vocabulary. He's got about 8 words now. We figure that's a function of his time at daycare. He's learning a lot from his classmates. I'm sure that's where he learned "mine" from! Dr. Hugen said that some good things to do with him now are reading, singing and drawing. We already read and sing daily and we often color with crayons. He's drawing and painting at school, too. I already have some art framed and ready to hang on the wall.
He had three shots today. We were prepared with Roary and a cup of milk. He cried for a few seconds, but that was it. He's such a brave little guy! The next appointment is in May for his 18 month check-up.
Happy New Year!
